This week, Fergus and Jack (Cal '19) sit down with current Associate Head Coach of Cal Men's Rowing, Sam Baum.

We welcome Sam back to The End of The Island after nearly three years and he shares what it's like to be a part of the reigning national championship programme. He explains some of the fallout of conference realignment in the US, particularly for schools in the PAC12 and the ACC as well as what in particular recruiting coaches are looking for in applying students.
